Job Description

An Abuja-based Company is seeking to hire a Finance and Compliance Officer that will be responsible for managing the finance and compliance unit.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of Accounting or recently qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CPA)

Key responsibilities include managing payments, managing income and receipts, capturing transactions of the general ledger, managing banking relationships, preparation of budgets and management accounts, and managing regulatory compliance with FIRS, CAC, and other regulatory bodies.

Expected Competencies

The ideal candidate should also have strong numerate and analytical skills, excellent use of MS Excel, and should be conversant with accounting software like PeachTree. He/she should possess 2 - 4 years of Accounting experience.

The candidate should also be hungry for results, ambitious about the future, and be willing to make sacrifices and drive innovation.
