Excellent Teachers Looking to Pivot to Life Skills Education
We are a leading corporate training, strategy consulting and organizational development firm seeking to hire some of the best schoolteachers in Abuja and Lagos who are desirous of transitioning to the consulting industry to build on their skills in education to support our work in Life Skills Education.
The obvious gaps in the quality of human capital coming out of our traditional education system has led to a new and sustained interest and focus on Life Skills Education – preparing our young minds with the skills for leadership and personal effectiveness, creativity, and innovation; communication; and financial literacy. The skills that are almost completely neglected in traditional school programs but are critical for the children’s survival and success in the workplace of the future.
Our company has pioneered the development of books, learning resources and board games in these four areas since 2015 (www.bebetterbooks.biz) and we have partnered with a number of corporate organizations, educational institutions and development partners to deploy these resources successfully. Parents and individuals have also invested in these books on behalf of children and wards.
Expected Competencies
We are seeking to hire Life Skills Education Consultants to drive our ambitious goal to spread the powerful message of life skills education using our resources, and are therefore looking for experienced teachers who want to take on more challenging and exciting work in the consulting industry and pivot their careers to new and exciting heights that possess the following attributes:
- High intellectual ability evidenced by strong academic credentials.
- Strong professional networking skills evidenced by activity on social media platforms like LinkedIn.
- Excellent facilitation and lesson delivery skills.
- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
- Very good use of MS Power Point.
- Excellent references from previous employers
- Strong work ethic, and willing to make sacrifices to achieve results for our clients.
- High learning agility and a keen interest in learning and research
- Hungry, ambitious, and innovative leader.
